The Maharajas, with their obsessive love for shikar (hunting) have been
largely responsible for shaping the culinary art in Rajasthan.
In
the world of good eating, game cooking is easily the most respected art
form, largely because the skills required to clean, cut and cook game are
not easily acquired.
With the Pathani invasions, filtered in the art of barbecuing which has now
been honed to perfection and the quintessential sula-smoked kebabs or
skewered boneless lamb-can be prepared in 11 different ways.
» Dining : The restaurant along with a magnificent
view of the Aravali's offers an a la carte selection of Asian and
Continental dishes. Menus are changed daily to provide more choice to
guests. The western and eastern menu incorporates flavors from as far away
as Italy and Thailand. For the Indian daily menu, a selection of dishes from
different regions of India is served on a silver platter or Thali. Healthy
eating can be adhered to since the low calorie Spa menu is also available in
the restaurant. If you wish to learn more about food then visit the show

Along with personalizing the food, special care has been taken to surprise
guests in the bar as well. An eclectic mix of drinks such as spirits stirred
with Pomegranate juice or Jasmine syrup are available along side more
familiar favorites.

urge you to use one of our special dinner venues.
Accommodation
All of the 23 suites at Devi Garh are unique; luxurious and beautiful, yet
equipped with the most modern conveniences to make a guest feel at home.
Most suites include an individual terrace or garden. The premium suite,
called the Devi Garh suite, has a swimming pool and a jacuzzi, of its own.
Six tents are also available seasonally on request from October to March.
