While staying at Fateh Prakash Palace Hotel you will notice the splendour of the Durbar Hall whose walls are covered with the potraits of the Maharanas of the Mewar Dynasty. A visit to the Crystal Gallery which overlooks this magnificent Hall is also highly desirable.

The foundation stone of the Durbar Hall was laid by Lord Minto, the then Viceroy of India, in 1909. In fact, the Hall was originally called the Minto Hall in his honor. The size and splendour of this hall need to be seen to be believed.
