» Leisure Lawns : Large lawns and
picturesque terrace gardens afford guests with options of sitting and
enjoying the verdant surrounding or taking a leisure stroll through the
property. For other leisure activities, there is a crocquet lawn, a tennis
court, as well as a badminton court.

Indoor
games such as chess, drafts, etc., are also available on request. The hotel
can also make travel and excursion arrangements. There is much to see in the

» Cultural evenings : Banquets and cultural shows
can be organized at Kota Fort, and at Brijraj Bhawan Palace gardens
overlooking the river.
» Boat ride on the river Chambal : Boats are
currently operated on the river and cruises can be organized. The banks of
the Chambal have high rocky cliffs and this makes for a very scenic cruise.
Sightseeing
» Umed Bhawan Palace : Umed Bhawan is one of the
most beautiful palaces of Kota. Built in 1009 by Maharao Umed Singh II of
Kota. This palace was designed by Sir Swinton Jacob who spent many years in
Rajasthan. The overall design of the palace is European. There is an
Edwardian drawing room, a billiard room and a very well laid out garden
surrounding the palace.There are long corridors, courtyard and Italian
marble floors.

Chambel Garden : The lush green garden at Amar Niwas makes a lovely
picnic spot. While absorbing the ambience of the place one can enjoy a boat
ride.
» Maharao Madho Singh Museum : Situated in the old
palace, it houses a rich collection of Rajput paintings of the Kota school,
exquisite sculptures and other valuable antiques. The museum is the treasure
house of artistic items used by the rulers of kota.
» Weavers village of Kethun : This is where the
world famous Kota doria sarees (having a very fine weave) are woven. One can
visit the village and see weavers working in their houses, and buy the cloth
right off their loom. Distance from Kota 15 km. Half-day excursion.
» Royal Cenotaphs : Built for the former rulers of
Kota who were cremated here, these are lovely structures, having beautiful
stone carvings.
» Deotaji ji ki Haveli : This 'haveli' (traditional
residence) is in the old city and has numerous wall paintings.
